Ripley's Myrtle Beach Aquarium

Myrtle Beach Aquarium
or Ripleys Aquarium

Your kids will be amazed by the undersea life at Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach. Be sure to have your camera ready as you descend into the depths of the Dangerous Reef Exhibit! A moving walkway transports the family though the middle of a 750,000 gallon fish tank filled with fierce sharks and exotic fish. Classical music sets the stage for a relaxing experience while your children travel through the center of the tank inside of a 330 foot long acrylic tunnel. it allows for stunning, crystal clear views. Sea Turtles and stingrays share the marine exhibit with the powerful sharks.

Your kids will get up close and personal with a variety of stingrays in Ray Bay. The Friendship Flats section offers a petting station where the entire family can experience petting a stingray, or holding a horseshoe crab! It's a great interactive display of marine life and makes for a day that your family is not soon to forget.

The size of the Myrtle Beach Aquarium is perfect. It not so large that it overwhelms your kids, so it keeps their attention and they leave excited about all of the sea life they learned about and experienced first hand. You'll want to set aside about 2 hours for you and your children to see all of the marine exhibits.

Our South Carolina summers can get really hot! Ripley's Aquarium is a great way to beat the afternoon heat during your Myrtle Beach family vacation.
