Alligator Adventure is the home to over 800 alligators and crocodiles. These ancient creatures can weigh over 1000 lbs and Alligator Adventure is the proud home of Utan: the largest crocodile in the United States, measuring over 20 feet long.
Skilled staff members provide educational lectures on the giant reptiles and the talks are highlighted with hand-feedings. Your family will be amazed to see the giant creatures leap 15 feet out of the water to secure their afternoon snack.
Your children won't want to miss the Serpentarium which boasts a wide variety of snakes including the Green Anaconda. It's an amazing snake that can reach up to 37 feet long in the wild, which is long as your kid's big yellow school bus! The Serpentarium is considered to be one of the best in the country and the collection includes the extraordinary King Cobra and a monstrous Reticulated Python. Lectures are given in the amphitheater and the staff is on hand to answer questions about these fascinating reptiles.
Alligator Adventure doesn't stop with reptiles. The facility includes colorful tropical birds, comical river otters, busy beavers, Siberian Tigers, laughable lemurs and the newest addition: an adorable baby zebra!
